Hypermobile and Dysautonomia-Friendly Restorative Yoga

  • The Wellness Collective 875 Roosevelt Highway, Suite 120 Colchester, VT, 05446 United States (map)

Join Riley Goodrich of Love and Light Wellness for this nurturing 90-minute class, thoughtfully designed for individuals living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) lead by a teacher who lives with both conditions herself. For those with POTS and EDS whose nervous systems may be hypersensitive or dysregulated, restorative yoga offers a gentle pathway to balance. Through gentle, fully supported poses, breath awareness, and stillness, we create a safe space for your body to rest, recalibrate, and heal. Optional massage-like physical assists will be provided throughout class to support your settling.

Utilizing props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, each posture is adapted to honor your unique needs - minimizing joint strain, easing fatigue, and supporting autonomic balance. We focus on grounding practices that invite your nervous system into a state of deep rest, helping to soothe the symptoms of dysautonomia and chronic pain. We are only going to change poses like three times - seriously. Recharge those spoons!

This class is an invitation to reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom, cultivating resilience and ease. Curious? Email loveandlightwellness@outlook.com

All are welcome in this class, regardless if you have hypermobility or dysautonomia! Restorative yoga is a great way to reconnect with rest no matter what diagnosis you may or may not have.

Registration is open for 8 people, so register now to get your spot — they will go fast!
